After nearly twenty years as a wedding photographer, there is something especially meaningful about photographing the child of your best friends. I was beyond honored when Sydne and Nathan asked me to capture portraits of the two of them following their intimate ceremony at Interstate Park in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.

We spent an hour in their happy place surrounded by nature, beneath towering pines, and overlooking the breathtaking cliffs and waters of the St. Croix River. Sydne wore the most beautiful organic linen dress, while Nathan complemented her perfectly in relaxed linen pants and a soft button-up shirt. Every detail of their day felt intentional and deeply representative of who they are as a couple.

From their thoughtfully chosen organic attire to the exquisite organic food and cake served at the reception, every element reflected their values and the life they are creating together. It was a day filled with beauty, authenticity, and love.
