With Ashley’s designer talent and Rick’s musical background, these two created a truly unforgettable wedding. Their day began with a private ceremony with family held in the Japanese Garden at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Ashley and Rick’s all black attire was absolutely stunning among the colorful blooms and enchanting gardens.

On the way to the reception, we stopped by the Celeste of St. Paul Hotel where Rick surprised Ashley with a night in the historic chapel suite. We found ourselves surrounded by jewel toned velvet, crystal chandeliers, and rich dark woodwork, making it the perfect backdrop for dramatic portraits.

The reception was held at the Fitzgerald Theater in downtown St. Paul. Ashley and Rick entered the reception by greeting guests from a Juliet balcony overlooking the stage where the reception took place. After dinner and dessert was served, guests danced the night away to Rick’s brothers AMAZING band, Billie Jo Hall. Rick threw on a top hat during their first dance and Ashley changed into a white 1950’s inspired tea-length dress which made cutting a rug a little bit easier.

Later, the city lights were calling our name, so we stepped outside and Ashley threw on her “Mrs. Peloquin” embroidered black jean jacket.  They danced in the street for a few backlit shots and then off into the night they went. What a perfect end to a beautiful evening!
