Ashley and Zane’s wedding felt relaxed yet deeply emotionally charged (in a good way!). The morning started out full of laughs with bridesmaids and touching moments between Ashley and her mom. The guys hung out and were chill as usual. They laid low in the grooms quarters and helped each other get ready while waiting for the bridal parties arrival.

Ashley and Zane exchanged their vows privately during their first look. Emotions ran high while lots of tears and laughs were shared between the two of them. Getting to be a fly on the wall and watch as they poured their hearts out to each other was truly a gift to witness. The images myself and my second photographer, Ellen D, captured were among some of my favorites of the day.

Surrounded by lush greenery, Croix View Farm was a gorgeous setting for their outdoor ceremony and rustic reception. Their details of yellow gingham, wild  flowers, and lemons lended to a cottage garden feel. Guests enjoyed yard games at cocktail hour and a delicious country dinner. Guests laughed and roared as they watched Ashley throw cake in Zane’s face shortly after dessert was served. Once the sun was low enough, Ashley and Zan took advantage of the golden hour and we were able to get some beautiful photos of the two of them. After returning to the reception, they danced the night away with family and friends which is always the perfect way to conclude a newlywed’s day.

Ashley and Zane, it was such a pleasure documenting your wedding day. I know you will spend the rest of your lives making each other happy.  Cheers! -Debra
