The Derks family reaches out every year to schedule their Christmas time photos while their family is home visiting from the East Coast. This year, they did things a little differently and chose to focus on just the girls; Kaylee, Keira, their sweet pup Monte, and their family friend’s granddaughter, little Gigi.

Seeing the girls dressed for Christmas was so sweet. Darling red sparkly dresses, tiny Christmas tree clips tucked into their hair, and Gigi in the cutest cream ruffled jumper with delicate black stitching. Gigi was understandably shy at first, while Kaylee and Keira, now comfortable and familiar with me, smiled effortlessly for the camera.

After Gigi headed home, the sisters turned the living room into their own festive stage, dancing to Christmas music while Monte watched closely, hopeful for treats. They bowled, rode their little bumblebee, and played together until the sunlight poured in through the window which was the perfect moment to capture their bond.

Once again, it was such a joy to spend time with all of them and document these meaningful, fleeting moments during the holiday season.
