Erin and Ryan are seriously two of THE sweetest people you’ll ever meet! I am lucky enough to always have cool and down to earth clients but these two were definitely the most chill and relaxed. Nothing in their minds could go wrong because they were so beyond happy to be getting married. Thankfully their wedding day was a warm and gorgeous October day which was entirely different from their winter engagement session back in February (see here).
There were so many emotional moments that took place throughout the day; such as Ryan’s parents celebrating their wedding anniversary just a day apart which also took place at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church of Edina to Erin’s very emotional first look with her darling dad. Although emotions ran high so did the joy and laughter. The ceremony was flawless and it was obvious Erin and Ryan were ready for the festivities to begin by the high-five they gave each other while exiting the church.
The reception was held at the pristine Oak Ridge Country Club in Hopkins. Guests mingled while enjoying tasty appetizers, cocktails and the gorgeous view. Before heading in for the grand march, I had the opportunity to photograph Erin and Ryan on the golf course under a beautiful weeping willow tree. Honestly between the stunning landscape and this darling couple I was in complete photographic heaven. Oh, and don’t even get me started on that dress, SWOON!
The evening continued with delicious food, endless laughter, heartfelt speeches, energetic dancing and decadent cupcakes. Everything about the day went perfect but my only regret is I didn’t take home a cupcake. BIG MISTAKE!
