Leah and Scott had their first look on the rooftop of The Rand Tower Hotel in Minneapolis. It was an emotional and touching moment to see and was evident these two are deeply in love (swoon!). After they spent a few intimate minutes together, we made sure to utilize the stunning interiors of the hotel and created some elegant and timeless photos before meeting the wedding party at Loring Park.

The ceremony and reception were held at The Annex in Uptown Minneapolis. This malleable and raw space is exactly what they say it is, exceptional, memorable, and sublime! Their event was the perfect testimony to their love for meaningful relationships. The couple’s ceremony included their dear friend Kojo as their officiant while their two children stood up for them as their maid of honor and best man. Leah’s beautiful bouquet was dressed in numerous charms and brooches honoring loved ones. The cream flowers had personal meaning and were accompanied by magnolia leaves to represent endurance and perseverance. My favorite sentimental item was Leah’s engagement ring which belonged to her late maternal grandmother. So incredibly lovely!

After the ceremony, guests were ushered into the garden room where trees and tropical plants brought a warmth to the gathering. Social hour was intimate and dinner had a relaxed feel as guests enjoyed savory hors d’oeuvers and an array of tacos from the delicious Chilly Lime food truck. Dinner tables were glowing with gold pumpkin centerpieces and luscious greenery. Later, guests were offered elegantly decorated sweet treats made by the bride herself while listening to heartfelt toasts and speeches. The fall temperature outside may have been brisk but the atmosphere of this wedding warmed up while guests gathered and bared witness to Leah and Scott basking in the newlywed glow.
