It was such an honor to photograph Nova’s senior session. I’ve known her since she was just an itty-bitty, and it’s wild how quickly time has flown. We kicked off the session in downtown Stillwater, Minnesota, where we found some of the most darling murals. One of my favorites shots was overlooking the rooftops where the sunshine mural created a bold and joyful pop of color behind her. Such a perfect match for Nova’s personality.

After exploring town, we made our way to a nearby field just as the evening light began to soften. Nova changed into a denim vest, white skirt, and the cutest red cowgirl boots I’ve ever seen. Watching her walk through the tall grasses with the golden glow kissing everything around her was simply beautiful.

To wrap up the session, we stopped by a quiet beach, making it the perfect peaceful ending to a fun and relaxed senior session.
