Like many couples, Rebecca and Erik’s wedding plans took some twists and turns due to COVID-19. They had originally planned on having a destination wedding in Italy but when things got complicated they chose to keep their wedding local. Rebecca and Erik got ready for their big day in the comfort of their Minneapolis home. While there I learned about Rebecca’s love for art and Erik’s love for jazz and his cherished record collection.

Rebecca was radiant in her lace and chiffon wedding dress paired with her grandmother’s pearls. Erik looked handsome in his tuxedo adorned by a stunning peacock feather bow tie. Before heading to the wedding, Rebecca and Erik stopped by the Stone Arch Bridge for some family photos with their darling daughter, Emmy. The risk was high since Emmy had to be woken from her nap but she was a total champ and was in good spirits, making the stop a success!

Their wedding ceremony and reception took place at their dear friend’s home in Plymouth, MN. It was the perfect backdrop for the intimate wedding they had envisioned. Close friends and family gathered while another good friend officiated the ceremony. The elegant decor employed colors to compliment the season and gorgeous surroundings. Guests enjoyed live jazz music while being served an array of delicious hors d’eouvre’s and signature cocktails.

The night tapered off with glowing twinkle lights, flickering candles, and the light of the moon. Although Rebecca and Erik did not make it to Italy, they certainly found a way to bring Italian romance home.
