I’ve known Taran since the summer of her going into her senior year of high-school when I photographed her senior session. A few years went by and then I photographed her wedding with her amazing husband, Andy (see their beautiful wedding here). So when Taran and Andy reached out to me a couple months ago for a maternity session, I was absolutely elated!

Of course Taran and Andy wanted to include Taran’s grandparents farm which has always been the backdrop for all of their big life events. It’s clear how special this place is to them. While there, it was evident their horses and donkey were trying to protect their pregnant mamma from the crazy lady with the camera. They kept blocking my way as if to protect her which I thought was so incredibly sweet.

Following the farm, we finished the session at their new beautiful home just down the road. The rest of the fur babies were included and were the stars of the show. I’m sure they’ll all make the best big siblings to their new baby sister on the way. Taran and Andy, thank you so much for including me on yet another milestone in your lives. It’s always such an honor and I cannot wait to meet your sweet baby girl! XOXO
