Becoming a photographer is one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. It’s a lovely way to earn a living and an amazing way to make lifelong friendships. I met Ellen and Jason about 10 years ago when I photographed their wedding. Since then, Ellen and I have become colleagues and more importantly, very dear friends.  So when Ellen and Jason asked me to photograph their new baby, I jumped at the opportunity!

We decided to take a different approach this time since I had photographed their son Jude just a few years ago (see Jude’s blog post here). In order to not have the sessions be too similar, they decided to incorporate their favorite beach in their beautiful town of Lake City. Violet was so content at the waters edge, it’s clear she’s going to love it there too!

Congratulations Ellen and Jason on the newest addition to your darling family and congratulations to Liv and Jude for being the best big brother and sister, EVER!
