You ever meet people for the first time but feel like you’ve known them forever? That’s how I felt after the first meeting with Leah and Scott. I knew we were the perfect match and I was so excited they chose me to photograph their wedding next year at the beautiful Annex in Minneapolis. Instead of the usual engagement session they included their children, Jacob and Carah. They chose a meaningful location behind their home where Scott had proposed to Leah. I absolutely love when couples incorporate a meaningful element into their sessions. It always lends a deeper story being told which I hold in very high regard.

Although it was a bitter cold evening, everyone was a trooper and didn’t allow it to effect their experience. Little Jacob was the star of the show with his quick to change facial expressions. I’ve never seen anyone give so many different looks in such a short period of time. I think he’ll do very well on the wedding day and no doubt he’ll be a good source of entertainment for all.
