When Victoria and Andrew contacted me to photograph their newest little love, baby Lucy, I felt truly honored. I spent the morning in their home documenting this tender season in their lives, with Vivian, their spirited two-year-old, and their loyal pup, Sully, happily joining in.

Lucy was an absolute sweetheart. She was calm, alert, and far too curious to give in to sleep. She drifted between brief eyelid flutters and long stretches of wide-eyed wonder, determined to take it all in. Wrapped up like a snug little bug in a rug, she watched me closely with every click of the camera.

It was such a gift to capture this family of four in their element, and even with a very awake newborn, they now have a gallery full of beautiful memories together, and of Lucy herself. She may not have slept, but she certainly charmed us all.
